Hillary's Snickerdoodle Recipe

Ok this is too cute - they posted this on her website and I thought it'd be fun to post it here too. Take a look...

Cat Cora's Snickerdoodle Cookies
Yields 2 dozen cookies

Recipe
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Topping
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions
Cream butter. Add sugar and egg and add mix thoroughly. Sift flour, baking powder and salt; stir in mixture. Form dough into balls about the size of walnuts and roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place two inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 - 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
